A five-year-old child died, and his family was found unconscious after fumigation in Karachi’s Defence area. The incident occurred in Khayaban-e-Saher, where insecticide spraying affected the parents and their five children. They were rushed to a Clifton hospital, but five-year-old Moinuddin did not survive. The family, including Dr. Ziaudding Sheikh, his wife, and four teenage children, was rescued. A similar tragedy occurred two years ago in Mehmoodabad, where toxic fumes from fumigation claimed a four-year-old girl’s life.
