The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has extended the deadline for submitting income tax returns by 14 days, now due on October 14. This decision, made in a special meeting led by FBR Chairman Rashid Mahmood Langrial, comes as the original deadline was set for September 30. The FBR also reported that Rs 1,106 billion was collected in September, exceeding the target of Rs 1,098 billion.
