Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has launched the Nigehban Ramadan Package to provide relief to low-income families across Punjab during the holy month of Ramadan. Under the program, 4.2 million deserving families will receive Rs 10,000 in cash, along with Nigehban Cards delivered directly to their homes for easy access. The initiative also includes 136 activation centres, Bank of Punjab ATM support, a transparent monitoring system, and verification calls to ensure fair distribution. In addition to financial assistance, the government has introduced “Maryam ke Mehman” centres for free daily iftar, along with CM Ration Cards, Nigehban Dastarkhwan, and Sasta Bazaars to ensure affordable food and essential items, aiming to make Ramadan easier and more supportive for needy families across the province.
