The Large Taxpayers Office (LTO) Karachi has set a new milestone by collecting a record-breaking Rs184.7 billion in taxes in a single day — the highest ever in its history. In June 2025, the office also achieved Rs449.05 billion in total tax collection, marking a 48% year-on-year growth. For the fiscal year 2024–25, LTO Karachi generated Rs3.5 trillion in revenue, showing a 29% increase from the previous year, mainly through income and sales taxes. This achievement reflects the strong leadership of Chief Commissioner Zubair Bilal and the dedicated efforts of the LTO team.
