At least seven people were injured on Tuesday after a blast on a railway track caused four bogies of the Jaffar Express to derail in Sindh’s Shikarpur district. According to Deputy Commissioner Shakeel Abro, the explosion occurred around 8:15am, about one kilometre from the Sultan Kot railway station. He confirmed that four bogies were derailed, with four injured passengers shifted to the Combined Military Hospital and three to the Civil Hospital Shikarpur. The incident comes amid a surge in attacks targeting railway infrastructure in Balochistan and nearby regions.
